They therefor have a subjective aspect as well. Words leave room for interpretation and change. They allow us to play. And this is where the magic happens. Playing with words, changing them and giving them new meaning, allows us to change our perspective on reality and sometimes even change it.”
MindMirror is an idea of artist & entrepreneur Stijn van der Pol. Under the name ‘saf~’ Stijn is known for his ambiguous, mindful yet down to earth wordplay art. In his work we often find themes as opposites, balance and common sense. Through the power of words, Stijn asks us to reflect on both everyday as well as contemporary topics, offering perspectives that are often right in front of us. Always with a twist.
Words play an important role in Stijn’s work and art. By putting words on a mirror, Stijn creates an extra layer of perspective, both literally as well as figuratively. By putting you in the center of the artwork, the words you read and the message they convey immediately become personal. The line between the mind and the outside word come together.
Next to our awesome design, we promise premium quality products only. That is why we work together with fair, innovating brands who have eye for detail. Our frames for example, are made by German based market leader Nielsen, and available in three stunning, basic colours: black aluminum and natural or white oak.

We are currently building up a network of resellers across Germany and Europe in general. We will soon show them to you on our website. For now, Mindmirror is only available right here, at mindmirror.art.
We have chosen to keep things simple. For now, Mindmirror is only available in 30x30cm and 50x50cm. Wish to order a custom size? Simply contact us and let us know. We’ll see what we can do! Basically, everything is possible.
ContactMindmirror is not much different to a great fineart print. The only difference being, that in stead of a print in a premium quality frame, you now get a mirror.
Our mirrors are laser-engraved with high precision. From the back of each mirror, the ‘print’ is lasered out of the mirror foil, leaving clear glass graphics.
After laser-printing the mirror it is up to you. Either buy a mirror with pre-sprayed colours by Edding, choose to colour your mirror yourself with our Edding Acrylic Markers, or choose your colours with our inlay papers, to be able to change them once in a while.
To make our mirrors complete, we frame them in a fineart-quality, aluminum frame by Nielsen.
Sure you can! In our ‘specials’ section you will find a few examples of customisable mirrors. Customize them with your name, with your favourite poem, or send us your graphic. For an extra fee of 30€ you’ll have the perfect, unique gift.
